About Karla
Karla Quiroga is the Founder & CEO of La Casa del Español. Originally from Bolivia, she founded the academy with a simple belief: learning a language is one of the most transformative things a person can do — and it should feel human, not clinical.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Karla is the only instructor at La Casa del Español who teaches every level of every program — from Mini Toledo (Spanish immersion for kids ages 1–6) to adult one-on-one classes, group programs, and DELE exam preparation up to C2.
Her method combines proven pedagogical practice with a genuine passion for human connection. Whether you are a parent enrolling your toddler, a professional preparing for a work trip to Latin America, or a serious student aiming for DELE certification, Karla brings the same warmth, structure, and cultural depth to every lesson.
